2011 Bianchi Tipo Corsa Frameset

Italian bicycle manufacturer, Bianchi, will re-release the Tipo Corsa Frameset for 2011.
The 2011 Bianchi Tipo Corsa, also known as the “Race Type”, is definitely a retro model, using the ever popular Celeste green and chrome throughout its steel frame.
The forks you see with the 2011 Bianchi Tipo Corsa will be all chrome just like the Pista Classica. Braze-ons have been added for downtube shifters–another classic addition.
As of now, a retail price has not been announced on the 2011 Bianchi Tipo Corsa frameset. Available March 2011.

Interesting that rear rack braze ons were added to this offering by Bianchi, these are not usually found on true racing frames, retro or current designs. It also seems odd that that shifter braze ons are painted, perhaps this is only done for the show model. What brazing process was utilized, brass or low temperature silver? Curious what tubing was utilized and what is the gauge or wall thicknesses of the of the tubing?
Chromed BB shell? Yuck.
I don’t think this is meant to truly race. that’s why they put outdated technologies into it that have the styling retro riders want and a rear rack for comfort. it’s more of a midlife crisis weekend ride if you ask me. cool concept. maybe it’s meant to slap your kid on back and tear *** down the street?
Yes, this is definitely not a real race frame. This is in fact a lot like the 1981 specialissima frames. If you were around back then and wanted one, here is the solution to your mid-life crisis as someone already mentioned
