Campagnolo CX Cranksets

campagnolo cx cranksets 1 300x211   Campagnolo CX CranksetsCampagnolo ventures to the rain and mud with its CX Power-Torque Cranksets. They come in carbon and aluminum versions but with the carbon components weighing lighter by 100g. The cranks come in 10-speed and 11 speed versions aptly named CX10 and CX11 respectively. For the carbon models, they weigh 628g (11-speed) and 629g (10-speed). As for the aluminum models, they weigh 728g (11-speed) and 731g (10-speed).

The CX Power-Torque Cranksets feature Campagnolo’s C.A.R.T. or Cyclocross Advanced Racing Techonlogy. This was applied to the chainrings which actually uses a special drivetrain for smaller chainrings. The Power-Torque BB has the doubleslip pedal feature to protect and prolong the bearing life of your bike.

The Campagnolo CX Power-Torque Cranksets will be available of 170, 172.5 and 175mm lengths.

The website is a venue where fans of the seven-time Tour de France champion can leave messages of support for Armstrong.

The Support for Lance site asks only for you to post its site badge online or on your own website to gather more support. No monetary support is required. You also have the option to leave messages of support for Armstrong to read.

As per the website, “We aren’t looking for money, and Lance has no involvement in this website. His guilt or innocence is not what is being addressed here. We’re appealing to the millions of Lance Armstrong fans all over the world – it’s time that this international hero gets some support when he needs it most!”

The 2011 Chumba Evo will hit the stands on January 2011. This is one of Chumba’s lowest stand-over and most compact bikes. It comes in four colors of white, ano red, ano black and ano silver. The hydroformed tubeset is made from 7 series aluminum which is double butted.

The new Chumba Evo features a 67 degree head angle and a zero stacked tapered head tube. It comes with a Fox 36 fork. It can be adjusted up t 3 degrees with headset cups. It also has 13.5” BB and leverage rates for coil and air shocks to handle your riding performance.

The Chumba Evo has sliding dropouts which gives adjustability on the wheelbase and c/s length. It also has two shock mount positions (air and coil) via front-mounted plates. It has downtube dual-link, rear maxle option and ISCG mounts.

White Industries Quick Release Pedal System

White Industries introduces its new Quick Release Pedal System. It is a crank which uses a latch to allow easy mounting of pedals. The crank has a brass insert which is the heart of the new pedal system design. With a push of a button and a slide of the latch, the screw for the pedals can be easily attached to it. The brass button also acts as a lock to secure the pedals in place. It is handy and easy to bring around for travel.

2011 frm 29er frames 1 300x245   2011 FRM 29er FramesItalian company FRM releases its 2011 MTB 29er frames. The three new frames are the Anakin, Galaxy 29er and the 8HP 29er. All frames are handmade in Italy with the best quality carbon materials. The Anakin features drive side chains, integrated seat dome and Kevlar coated downtube. It also has a tapered headset, BB92 Press-Fit bottom bracket shell, integrated headset and a front derailleur called “FD-M ZX”. The new derailleur allows for 36 to 40 outer rings and the frame weighs 1220g.

The Galaxy 29er shares nearly same features as the Anakin. It has a large stand over clearance and has more sloping on its design. It has rounded tube on its main triangle with an optimized rear triangle. Made from the same carbon material, the Galaxy 29er weighs 1050g.

After making some noise in 2010 with the Redline Urbis, the company recently added to the 2011 line the Urbis Nox frameset.

The 2011 Redline Urbis Nox frameset is designed for fixed street riding. Utilizing heat treated chromoly, the frame comes with gusseted headtube plus chainstays, and stout wishbone seatstays.

Wondering if the Urbis Nox fork is compatible with disc brakes? The answer is yes, plus you can slap a pair of pegs on the heat treated chromoly forks. Available in black, it is unknown if the 2011 Urbis Nox will come as a complete bike.
