High5 introduces hydration tablets called Zero and Zero X’treme which packs a whole lot of energy with almost zero calories to your energy drinks. The electrolyte drinks are rich in sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium. They are simple to use. You take a tablet and dissolve it in water and you now have an energy drink to last you for your ride.

Zero boasts only having 1.4 calories per 100ml. With one tube, you have 20 tablets which equates to 15 liters of energy-boosting electrolyte drink. High5 also conducted a study which shows that people who take Zero burned 41% more fat after their workouts.

The Zero X’treme has added 65mg of caffeine in the hydration tablet to give you your needed caffeine fix while on the road. Both Zero and Zero X’treme can minimize occurrence of cramps as well. Zero comes in three flavors of cherry-orange, citrus and berry.

Gates Carbon Drive Systems unveils the CenterTrack drivetrain technology, the latest invention of Wayne Lumpkin. Lumpkin shares what inspired him to create CenterTrack, “My goal is always to create products that make bicycling easier and more fun for the user. The tires are extremely durable with its dual protective rubber casing that’s engineered to withstand the wear and tear of urban riding. The ThickSlick tires feature Freedom Bicycle’s Urban Armor casing tire technology and uses an anit-puncture belt made of Kevlar bits that molds itself to the circumference and tread width of the tire.

Diamondback shared an exclusive look at the 2012 Dream Liner, a slope style mountain bike.

The 2012 Diamondback Dream Liner was refined and tested for years, and is set to launch at the end of next year for 2012. Taking a brief glance, you can see the Dream Liner received inspiration from the Mission platform, the only difference in frame between the two is the Dream Liner uses a more compact frame and 4 inches of travel.

Component specifications are not dialed in at this point, but a ton of detail went into the frame, using a knuckle box platform based around the belt crank, cradle shock protected, and single pivot full bar design. Its unique ingenuity enables a low leverage ratio plus low compact design for a better center of gravity and a tighter feel.
