Masi 2011 Speciale CX Uno Cyclocross

If your planning to step your feet (or tires) into Cyclocross, but only have about $900 to spend? Masi introduces the 2011 Speciale CX Uno, a beginner cyclocross bike that retails just under $900.
The Masi 2011 Speciale CX Uno features a double butted frame, Kenda Small Block Eight tires, Shimano 2300 8 speed shifters, and the same frame and fork used on the Speciale CX. As of now, the 2011 Speciale CX Uno is available as a complete bike, and down the road you might be able to purchase the frame only.
Color options known is just the Olive Green (pictured above).

Dang that’s pretty nice, has a competitive price point and retains the vintage graphics of the CX and the Randenneur, too. I’m about to splurge on a Speciale CX, but I wonder if this might be the better buy. Don’t see this on the Masi site yet though. Hmmmm.
Just put my 60cm together an rode 25 miles on the backroads, paved & chip and sealed. I am not a racer but this bike makes one heck of a rough rode rider. One ride and I love this bike and it alway takes me a few rides to settle in on a new bike. A+ Masi
I purchased the 2011 Speciale CX Uno back in July, and have been commuting with panniers. Rides great – real smooth. I have not yet made any mods, enjoying it as is. I’m very happy with this bike. Thanks Veloce!
its not on the masi website, havent seen it anywhere online… is it possible to buy it online? if so i will.
