For 2011, Orbea has redesigned the Orca to propel the road bike into the spotlight when it comes to competition. Used by UCI Pro Team Euskaltel-Euskadi, Kelly Benefits USA, Andalucía Cajasur and Orbea Continental, the Orca showcases the latest technology from Orbea.
The 2011 Orca features Aizone Technology which makes the bike more compact to increase speed and stability. It optimizes aerodynamic flow by 14%. The Orca also has Attraction technique which can minimize road vibration and increase pedaling efficiency.
It also has BB30, carbon monocoque frame and direct cable routing. It has the Size Specific Nerve which maximizes stiffness based on the size of the frame. Orbea also comes with four additional sizes for the Orca. These are 47 and 51 for women; 53 and 55 for men. The 2011 Orbea Orca appeals to both sportive and recreational cyclist.
