2011 Masi Speciale Road Bike

2011 will bring back the Masi Speciale with a retro theme including vintage graphics that is intended for road racing, yet is enjoyable for day commutes.
The 2011 Masi Speciale road bike highlights are a double butted chromoly frame, lugged chrome forks, and a Tiagra 9 speed groupset.
The Tiagra 9 speed groupset on the 2011 Masi Speciale uses outboard bearings, plus the compact dropouts on the frame adds more stiffness to the bike. A comfortable saddle is present, that has the Masi stamp with “Milano”, a nice look indeed.
If your thinking this bike is expensive, well your wrong! MSRP is $1,200.

Why would one think this bike would be expensive? It is just another Asian produced generic cro-moly steel framed bicycle with low level Shimano components dressed in retro Italian clothing!!!
Well, some people think $1,200 is expensive for a bicycle. Not everyone is a cycling fanatic with lots of money.
I rode this bike for nearly two years and absolutely adored it. I came from racing on a madone 5.5 and even after switching to the heavier Masi this bike was not a dissapointment. The frame was very comfortable
