Felt Bicycles releases three models for its 2011 Cyclocross line. They are the Breed, F15X and F75X.
The 2011 Breed for singlespeed, was only relaunched for 2011 but did not undergo any changes. Felt’s brand manager Dave Koesel felt that it was a great model as it is. “Why mess with a good thing?” said Koesel. The 2011 Felt Breed will retail for $949 for its singlespeed design, aluminum frame, Tektro brakes and stainless steel inserts in rear dropouts. The bike will come with a BeerNuts tool. The color scheme is black and Belgian blue.
The Felt F15X features a new BB30 shell and modified chainstays. It has a Easton fork, replaced the SRAM S500 crank to the carbon S900 and TRP brakes. The retail price for the F15X is $2799 with SRAM Red components. It comes in the color of Liquid gray and black.
As for the Felt F75X, it also gets the same makeover on the BB30 bottom bracket which gives it a taller cross-section chainstay. This will also mean better mud clearance and a lighter bike. The F75X comes with new Shimano 105 shifters, cassette, chain and Dura Ace derailleurs. For $1699, it comes in Vittoria Cross XG folding bead tires and in colors gloss black and white.
