Four bikes will release apart of the 2011 Diamondback Mission range, which are named accordingly (1, 2, 3, 4). Although retail specifics are not known, each of the Diamondback 2011 Mission bikes are priced in scale with the number, and components show. We will fill you in on the highlights below.
The 2011 Diamondback Mission 1 features Weapons Grade Aluminum Mission 6″ all mountain frame with knuckle box suspension platform, Fox 32 Float RL O/B 150mm fork, Fox Float RP23 XV Rear Shock, Truvativ Blaze 2 Speed with AM Guard crankset, MX 260D Wall Rims, and Hayes Stroker Ryde Hydraulic disc brakes. Available in Grey.
The Diamondback 2011 Mission 2 has the same Weapons Grade Aluminum frame, Fox front forks and rear suspension, but a few differences are added. The crankset is a Truvativ Fire-X Giga-X Pipe 2 speed with AM Guard, MX 260HD double wall rims built for disc brakes and have sealed bearings, and Hayes Stroker trail disc brakes. The Mission 2 comes in dark grey/blue.
3rd model in Diamondback’s 2011 Mission series is made of the same frame materials, constructed with Fox forks and rear suspension, but contains a Truvativ Hammerschmidt AM 2-Speed Transmission, Avid Elixer CR Hydraulic Disc Brakes, and WTB Laser Disc Trail Rims Sealed Bearing Hubs with QR15. Not sure of the color here, but looks to be a salmon pink.
Last but not least is the 2011 Mission 4, just like the previous three modes, the Mission 4 uses the same Weapons grade Aluminum, swapped out the Fox 32 Float with a 36 Talas RC2 FIT (options of 160, 130, 100mm), Avid XO Hydraulic Disc Brakes, and Mavic Crossmax ST Wheels. Available in a green color.
