Transition Bikes releases the Blindside, a giant among the travel bike line-up for the company. Modified to meet downhill racers’ needs like compatibility with a lower bottom bracket and slack headtube, the Blindside comes in orange, white, black or raw.

The Blindside frame features Fox DHX 5.0 Coil 8.75″ x 2.75″ stroke or DHX 5.0 Air 8.75″ x 2.5″. It is made with the 6000 series heat treated aluminum and comes in three sizes of small, medium and large. It comes with a decal kit with colors black, white, green and red.

The frame weighs 7.6 lbs without rear shock. It is compatible with up to 8” dual crown forks and has a 73mm bottom bracket spacing. You can even use it for up to 8” rear disc break rotors and has a 12x135mm axle dropouts.

For complete bikes, it has a seat post of 30.0mm and 34.9mm seat clamp. The Transition Blindside frame has a retail price of $1,649.00.
