Specialized comes out with its 2011 apparel for recreational and competitive cycling. Released are the Enduro Shorts, Demo Shorts, Cascade Jersey and Deflect Jacket.
The Enduro short is for cross country enthusiasts. It has a removable liner that’s separate form the shorts. It has adjustable waist straps and a sliding front snap locks to keep you secured. It also features the Body Geometry Comp pad to allow better blood flow and pressure support. With mesh front panels and shell panels for ventilation and better functionality, the Enduro Shorts has a MSRP of $120.00.
The Demo Short is for freeride cycling, it is made from nylon/polyester material with functional Velcro hand and back pockets. It comes just below the knees with functional belt loops and internal waits adjustment. It has a 15.5” inseam and MSRP of $80.00.
The Cascade Top uses a vaporized field sensor fabric that pulls moisture from the skin towards the surface of the fabric. It’s a loose fit jersey which also has mesh side panels and a small security pocket for your valuables. It has a mid-chest zipper to keep you cool when the weather is warm and has a MSRP of $60.00. Colors available are black, crimson or dark brown.
The Deflect Jacket is a lightweight water and wind resistant shell. Made from polyester construction with a single back zippered pocket, the jacket has a vented back for airflow and a two-way front zipper for easy access. It has reflective trimming for visibility and full fleece collar. The Deflect Jacket has a MSRP of $90.00. Colors available are black, ion yellow, royale and red.
