Ridley updates its cyclocross bikes for July 2011, the X-Night, X-Fire, X-Ride and Crossbow.
The X-Night has a high modulus carbon frame and a 4ZA Oryx full carbon monocoque fork. With an oversized BB30 bottom bracket shell, it has increased lateral stiffness and reduced q-factor. With an inch and a half lower head tube and fork crown, it also features mudless tube technology applicable to the fork and seat stays.
The X-Night has fully integrated Kevlar cable guides and a CNC design to keep the rear derailleur in place when the wheel is on collision with other objects along the ride. A new housing makes sure that the cable is safe from mud. It runs inside the seatstay towards the derailleur. It also has an integrated seatmast and a 34.9 front derailleur clamp. The Enduro short is for cross country enthusiasts. It has a removable liner that’s separate form the shorts. It has adjustable waist straps and a sliding front snap locks to keep you secured. For 2011, Cannondale comes out with a 21 pound 29er that gives high quality performance on the trail despite being lightweight. The Flash 29 has a high modulus carbon fiber construction which goes from the front and splits at the seat tube and goes towards the rear.
With an inch and a half headtube, the Flash 29 also features the Cannondale S.A.V.E. chainstays and seatposts for a comfortable ride. They work like a mini-suspension systems on the bike to absorb rad shocks and vibrations.

WTB‘s popular saddles for road and mountain bikes will receive a upgrade that will release towards the end of this year. Those seats are the Valcon and Silverado.
The WTB Valcon and Silverado will now use carbon fiber rails and carbon composite shells. Silverado is a popular mountain bike saddle, while the Valcon is primarily used for road bikes, but off road as well. This upgrade will reduce the weight by 30 grams, compared to the previous titanium rails. Overall weight for the Silverado is 170 grams, and the Valcon at 165 grams.
Another change, which is more noticeably is the embossed microfiber covers, lowering the weight a bit compared to the leather covers.
