Here we have the Leader Trick Star Cross Bars, featuring a 25.4 clamp area, 3 inch rise, and is 27 inches in length. Ruler like measurements are placed, so cutting down can be more precise. The trick star cross bars are heat treated butted Cr-Mo, and made in Taiwan. Retail price is $69.00, and your choice of black, raw clearcoat, and white (not available yet).

All three triathlon bikes have a high modulus carbon frame with a reduced weight by 5%. The B12 comes with an aero tubeset that features internal cable routing. It has forged horizontal dropouts and Felt 3.2 Airfoil carbon steerer. It has SRAM Red with R2C bar end shifters and SRAM Red TT chainrings to deliver smooth shifting and high aerodynamics. Its Bayonet handlebars can be adjusted with total weight of 19.62lbs. The retail price for the Felt B12 is $3499.

The new models come in matte red and titanium colorway and a matte yellow and black colorway with Lance Armstrong’s signature on the helmets.

They feature Giro’s new RocLoc 5 retention system which has a micro-adjusting dial which is easy to use. A simple twist of the dial opens the retention system of the helmet. It also has ergonomic arms to accommodate Giro eyewear, and a 15mm vertical bracket which you can adjust without removing your helmet.

Other features of Giro Ionos are retained like the In-Mold Composite frame, 21 air vents, X-Static helmet padding and super fit engineering. The two new helmets are available in small, medium and large sizes. The Giro Ionos Lance Edition helmets retails at £169.99.

The Racine Elite weighs 260g while the Sport is heavier at 320g. Both models use a whale tale design to maximize the power generated by the rider while keeping support of the rider’s position on the saddle. It also has tapered side wings that minimize the saddle’s contact to the rider’s leg when pedaling.

Marketed to be a versatile performer, the Z5 features a high modulus carbon fiber frame that has a forged dropout, replaceable hanger with 3K finish. The fork comes with the same material as the frame with aluminum dropouts and carbon blades. It also has the Felt compression drive and a 1-1/8” steerer and crown. New Shimano 105 brakes, cassette, derailleurs, chain and shifters are on the Z5 with Mavic CXP-22N aluminum rims. Fedrigo wins Stage 16 Tour de France

fedrigo wins stage 16 tour de france 1 300x225   Fedrigo wins Stage 16 Tour de FrancePierrick Fedrigo of Bbox Bouyges Telecom spoils Lance Armstrong and the rest of the breakaway’s chance on winning Stage 16 of the Tour de France. Sandy Casar of Francaise des Jeux came in at second place while third place went to Ruben Plaza of Caisse de Espargne.

The 199km stage from Bagnères-de-Luchon to Pau began with a lead of ten riders: Lance Armstrong, Chris Horner, Sandy Casar, Ignatas Konovalovas, Carlos Barredo, Jurgen Van de Walle, Pierrick Fedrigo, Christophe Moreau, Ruben Plaza Molina and Damiano Cunego.

The breakaway which came together at the beginning of the stage encountered little change until the finish. Fedrigo won the stage with a sprint finish after an attack from Carlos Barredo of Quick Step.

At the final stretch, the peloton arrived led by Thor Hushovd who won the sprint at 10th place. This allowed him to take back the green jersey from Alessandro Petacchi.

Alberto Contador & Andy Schleck In It To Win It Specialized Contest Commercial

Andy Schleck of Saxo Bank and Alberto Contador are two opposites, but they have one thing in common. Both ride the Specialized Tarmac SL3. As of late, Contador and Schleck have been going at each other, and the tension seems to build with each stage.

Specialized issued a commercial for their contest which started at the beginning of the Tour de France called “In It To Win It”. With the 21 stages of the tour, you have a chance to win 1 of 21 Tarmac SL3 Astana edition or Saxo Bank. All you have to do is pick up a promo code at your local Specialized dealership, and sign up on the website. For the commercial, it is pretty funny, the two are trying to “outdo” each other, and then argue like they are children.
