Blue Axino 2011 Road Bike
The 2011 Axino Road Bike is the latest model creation from Blue Competition Cycles. The Axino is made with a monocoque construction and weighs less than 1000 grams. It has seatstays that are adjusted to make bumpy rides more comfortable.
The Blue Axino 2011 has a tapered headtube with cable housing. The cables go through the carbon tubes inside the frame. The rear brake housing is tucked forward to avoid brushing against your knee. It has a BB30 bottom bracket that has the Direct Drive technology; The one-piece bottom bracket and chainstay structure is not easily dislodged because of it.
The 2011 Axino Road Bike comes with the Aerus carbon seatpost, handlebars and alloy stem. It has a water bottle, carbon cage and Prologo saddle. The frameset retails for $2100.
Targeting one-day classics and crits, you can also avail of the Axino with SRAM Red, 303 carbon clinchers, TRP mag 970 road brakes for $7800. Also, get it with Shimano Dura-Ace, HED Ardennes wheels, Aerus components, Prologo saddle for $7000.
