Giant comes out with at 29er for its Trance X model this 2011. The Trance X 29er retains its 100mm travel front and rear like its predecessor. It has Powercore press fit bottom bracket that allows for 2×10 or 3×10 setups. Lighter by 75 grams, the Trance X 29er has a Fox F-125mm fork which functions to create a balance for its 127mm rear travel.
The 2011 Trance X 29er allows for a 2.3” rear tire compatibility. The frame claims to have increased in stiffness by 4 percent. It also comes with a Fox Float RP23 rear shock. It weighs 2,395 grams.
Finally, the 2011 Trance X 29er has head tube angles of ½ degree slacker and cable stops should you run a remote drop post.

first of all the trance x 29er dosnt actually exist! giant are bringing out an anthem x 29er with 4 inch travel. the trance for 2011 is a 26 inch bike with 5 inch travel and a slackend head angle by half a degree. the photo you have proveded is a giant trance x with 26 inch wheels
This may not be the 29er, but this is one of the ugliest frames in years. It look s like Giant glued the downtube of a beach cruiser to a 1986 Stumpjumper. This things could be the best riding bicycle in the world and I wouldn’t touch it.
I rode this bike and it is phenomenal! Great for Bunny hops wheelies and for serious up hill. Looking for a deal on this bike.!
I’ve always liked Giant mt. bikes & I plan on buying one with front & rear suspension but I may have to find an older model because that “trance x” is ugly as homemade sin!!!!!!
