2011 Felt Nine 29er Hardtail
Felt reveals a new set of 29er hardtails for 2011. The 2011 Felt Nine Elite has Monocoque carbon fiber frame with Shimano SLX components. It features blue powder-coated spokes.
The Felt Nine Trail complete has a frame which weighs 4.1lbs and gets a similar make with the Nine LTD carbon hardtail. It has a longer travel fork than its race siblings. It has Tektro disc brakes and Shimano Acera/Alivio components. The Nine Trail retails at $599.
The 2011 Nine LTD has a UHC Nano carbon fiber frame which weighs 2.4lbs. Don’t be deceived by its feather-light weight because this frame is engineered to provide excellent performance. The Nine LTD frame retails at $2299.

This was a horrible review since all this info is found on felt’s site. I was hoping to read about the performance of the Nine Trail and how it handles. Components, etc. Not its comparison to the highier end models in the Nine family.
What a waste of time review: This website is called bikereviews.com – so it would actually help if you not just catalogue bikes, but actually ride them and write about it. Else don’t waste everybody’s time…
I just got my nine trail 2 days ago. That same day I took it out on a 4 mile ride in the redwoods here in Humboldt County. The 29 inch wheels roll beautifully over anything. I’m impressed with how light the bike is considering it is huge. On the muddy trails the nine trail’s drivetrain performed absolutely beautiful and the disc brakes will not disappoint. I absolutely recommend this monster.
Hmm it seems like your website ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to everything. Do you have any tips for first-time blog writers? I’d really appreciate it.
