Italian manufacturer Bianchi releases its cyclocross line for 2011. The models Cavaria and Zurigo are named after cyclocross courses in Europe where Bianchi experienced cyclocross adventure. The Cavaria has a carbon platform with a Celeste paint job. It features World Champion graphics and Shimano Ultegra shifters and derailleurs. The Cavaria ride gets complete with Avid Shorty cross brakes and Vittoria Cross XG Pro tires. It also uses FSA Energy cross crankset and Fulcrum 7 wheels. The Cavaria comes in sizes of 49, 52, 55, 58 and 61. MSRP is $2699.99.
The Bianchi Zurigo retails for $1599.99 and has an alloy platform with a carbon race fork. It features SRAM’s new Apex shifters and derailleurs and FSA Omega crankset. It also has Vittoria Cross XG Pro Tires and Avid Shorty cross brakes like the Cavaria. However, the Zurigo has sealed bearing hubs with 32-hole Jalco CNC’d rims. The Zurigo comes in black with World Champion graphics and sizes of 49, 52, 55 and 58.
