The 21 riders for the U.S. Squad were finally announced by USA Cycling. They will be competing at the Pan American Continental Mountain Bike Championships in Guatemala City, Guatemala, on April 9-11.

Under the Elite Men’s Cross Country, the cyclists are Sam Schultz (Missoula, Mont./Subaru-Gary Fisher), Todd Wells (Durango, Colo./Specialized), Jeremy Horgan-Kobelski (Boulder, Colo./Subaru-Gary Fisher) and Michael Broderick (Chilmark, Mass./Kenda-Seven-NoTubes).

For the Elite Women’s Cross Country, the female athletes are Willow Koerber (Durango, Colo./Subaru-Gary Fisher), Mary McConneloug (Chilmark, Mass./Kenda-Seven-NoTubes), Heather Irmiger (Boulder, Colo./Subaru-Gary Fisher) and Katie Compton (Colorado Springs, Colo./Planet Bike).

Competing for the division of U23 Men’s Cross Country will be Rob Squire (Sandy, Utah), Tad Elliott (Durango, Colo.) and Ethan Gilmour (Ludlow, Vt.).

Representing U.S for the Elite Men’s Downhill are Chris Van Dine (Park City, Utah/Cannondale), Joey Schusler (Boulder, Colo./ Yeti Fox Shox Factory Race Team), Shawn Neer (Arvada, Colo.), Geoffrey Ulmer (Troy, NY), Luciano Worl (Woodinville, Wash./Corsair-Atomlab), Ethan Quehl (Grayson, Ga.) -Discretionary Pick, Graeme Pitts (Nevada City, Calif./Team Geronimo-Banshee Bikes) and Brian Buell (Boulder, Colo.).

Riding hard for the Elite Women’s Downhill are Rachel Bauer (Aspen, Colo./ Team Geronimo-BANSHEE ) and Katie Holden (Scotts Valley, Calif.).

The athletes for Elite Men’s Four-Cross are Chris Van Dine (Park City, Utah/Cannondale), Shawn Neer (Arvada, Colo.), Brian Buell (Boulder, Colo.) and for the Elite Women’s Four-Cross, it’s Rachel Bauer (Aspen, Colo./Team Geronimo-BANSHEE) and Katie Holden (Scotts Valley, Calif.).
