The petition is international, although Cyclocross is huge in the UK, and growing in the United States. Mike stated that a course would be easy to assemble, which compared to the other Olympic games we have to agree. Mondraker is going all out on testing the new Fox40 crown and stem, which is fused together. As of now, the Mondraker Integrated FOX40 Crown and Stem is a prototype, and is expected to be used with all the team riders to receive solid feedback. Mondraker stated that the stem and crown weighs only 253 grams, which is lighter than the Fox Crown and stem offering (368 grams). The new Mondraker integrated crown and stem takes away the use of 4 screws, and its flat design allows additional adjustments. More information coming soon.

Just this last weekend, All City had a unveiling of their new single speed Cyclocross Bike, known as the Nature Boy. The All-City Nature Boy Single Speed Cyclocross Bike is named after Minnesota wrestler Ric Flair, a great name for a cyclocross. Using internal cable routing, signature headbadge and dropouts, and will be available in lime green.

For the specifics on the All-City Nature Boy Single Speed Cyclocross Bike, it features 4130 Double Butted Chromoly steel frame, 4130 tapered stays and fork blades, removable canti bosses, fender mounts that are hidden, and a aggressive race geometry. Expected release is late July for the frameset which MSRP is $540. For the complete, reail price is around $850, but not set in stone.

He won second place in the stage five time trial by a mere 30 seconds over everyone including his fellow countryman, Luis Leon Sanchez, who set the pace for the race. He bested Team Radioshack’s Tiago Machado who finished third; Andreas Klöden came up eight, and Levi Leipheimer who got fourth place.

Although the fellow rider Daniel Navarro took the 58th place in overall standings, both wins served to uplift the team’s morale for the Tour de France and Paris-Nice. Contador opens the 2010 Tour as the reigning champion.

Cervelo Project California The Ultralight Frame



Out of the new Cervelo’s test facility situated in the West Coast came out the latest product, an ultralight carbon road frame. This is the result of Project California. The Carbon Road frame was said to be weight at 700g and has a size of 54 centimeters. This same prototype was used by Test Team rider Thor Hushovd, however it weighed only 648g. This data was gathered from the Cervelo’s website where a video posted indicated the slight difference of 52 grams.

Pictures presented of the video illustrate a kind of “ Super R3 “ when it came to the basic layout and shape. The chainstays appear to be tall and wide and the seatstays are spindly , thus making the down tube presents itself in rather innovative “squoval” profile.
