Team Astana Specialized Tarmac SL3 Road Bike

Specialized is one of Team Astana’s sponsors, and with Alberto Contador being on the team, plus he signed a contract with Specialized, it was only a matter of time before a Specialized road bike would show up. Moving forward, here are the official photos of Team Astana Specialized Tarmac SL3 Road Bike, and a nice choice by using Specialized top tier road bike. As we can see, the Team Astana Tarmac SL3 uses the colors yellow, sky blue, black, and white, which are all located on Team Astana’s jersey. Other small details make the SL3 Tarmac Road Bike Team Astana edition more desirable, like the designs at the rear plus “Astana” decals. We can not wait to see this bike built up!

How many people are going to want to ride around on a bike that is painted like the Kazakh national flag? Specialized’s desperation to have someone win the Tour on one of their bikes is understandable, but this is going to be one ugly bike!
Trek team Astana bikes were so much more original.
This is so UGLY. Period. I won’t buy a Specialized *** works
Ah the style gurus talk… I bet you dont even know what you clowns are talking about.
that down tube graffiti ( gray swirls )is similar to Wilier s Mimosa a ladies frame set, which is an Italian frame company.
You guys really do not even know what your talking about. This is an amazing bike, and is one of the best frames in the world. At the paint job is cool and one of a kind. Maybe you guys would rather ride all *** pink bikes instead.
I love that bike. I love those colors.
I just assembled a 2011 Tarmac SL3 in ASTANA colors and I can tell you that the photos don’t make any justice to those colors; it’s much nicer in real. And the “astana” letters are above the burnish so you can remove them as well as the “sun” on the main tube and you have a nicely painted bike!
Bought the astana bike 2/1/2 weeks ago, 500 plus miles and your typical Specialized, outstanding!!! Many positive comments from other riders. More comments than on my Roubaix S-Works. Treks are indeed pretty until they start breaking as they seem to be doing. Now that Contador won again, I’m sure we’ll see more. DARN.
i have enjoyed reading thank for sharing your story Greeting.
I actually have this frame. This is one fine bike. I have two Trek’s, a Madone 5.9 (the one with the shark type fin on the tube) and the Madone SSL, same one Armstrong won 7th tour on. The Specialized bike is in my opinion superior. A lot more firm and I feel the power transfers better. As for the Astana name and flag on the bike, those are decals and can easily be pealed off. I did that on my bike thus only the black, white blue and yellow colors.
Richard get a grip. I ride one and without a doubt is the nicest bike I have riden ,even better than my SL2. When you are more secure in your manhood you should try one then you to won’t give a **** what other people think. But I will give you this Iwouldn’t
let me finish I wouldn’t be caught dead in the uniform.
Got this bike in these colors on order for Mid Nov with zip 404′s. Say what you want but these colors look great, new and down right pretty. In my opinion and that’s all that matters to me. By the way, do I loose my “Cool Card” if the colors don’t meet your approval?
you guys are all yanks thats why you only ride Treks and Specialized but they’re both…………….
Is the only reason ya’ll ride em cause they win? Get off your computers, ride your fukkenn bikes people!!
I own a 61 cm with Ultegra 6700 and Roval SL 45s and have never ridden anything better. The gray filigree is actually based on Kazakh folk embroidery and is beautifully rendered. The Miami Beach blue and the black/yellow racing colors are stunning in the sun. This is a one-of-a-kind design, limited edition, frame that commemorates Team Astana’s historic 2010 TdF win. I ride mine with pride.
I recently completed building this bike up sitting on Roval SL45′s with full Di2. It is hands down the best bike I have ever ridden!!!
