Renée Haselbacher Extends His Contract Another Year

Team Vorarlberg-Corratec has announced that Renée Haselbacher has extended his contract for one more year with the Australian team. 32-year-old Haselbacher took his time to make a decision on whether or not to retire. “For a long time I was not sure what I wanted to do with my life,” he said. His 2009 season was riddled with injury and illness; he had a crash in the Ronde van Vlaanderen, which left him with a broken elbow and fractured face, and was diagnosed with mononucleosis in September. His 17-month-old son, Renée junior, played a part in his return to racing. “I absolutely want to present him with a victory. Until then I can’t stop riding,” he said. Haselbacher will begin his season with the Tour de Langkawi in March.

Seems to be difficult with Austria and Australia. the later is the country of coalas and kangaroo, whilst Austria is home of Mozart, DJ Oetzi and ski instructors all named Toni.
