The Black Market Contraband 2010 frame weighs 5.8 pounds, and retails for £349.99 (about $570 USD). A nice choice for smaller dirt jumpers and park riders. Available in green/pink or black/purple.

The Bagjack x Stone Island Shadow 2010 Messenger Backpack will act as a backpack if you have the lid zipped and straps across your chest, if you leave the lid zip open you have a messenger bag, and if you have the lid flipped towards the back covering the strap system you have a briefcase. The Bagjack x Stone Island Shadow comes in a medium size, so its a bit smaller than the messenger bag offered by the company. Retail is 499 EUR.

Yukiya Arashiro had a taste of what it’s like to race in the Tour de France, and now he’s hungry for more.

Arashiro holds the distinction of being the first Japanese biker to complete the famed European peloton. Last year in Paris, he crossed the finish line ahead of his compatriot Fumiyuki Beppu, and he expressed a desire to not only complete the race this season, but actually get a stage win.

Yukiya Arashiro is currently a member of the French racing team Bbox Bouygues Telecom, and is presently in Thailand, training with the Korean team Geumsang Ginseng Asia. This season will be his second with Team Bbox, and Arashiro hopes to make the most of it, seeing as the team is assured of a spot on the Tour de France even though it is no longer considered a ProTour team.

Stuart O’Grady is not even seeing himself as a contender in this year’s Tour Down Under, but is instead focusing on training and getting his racing legs back into competitive shape during this year’s Australian tour.

O’Grady explained that his preparation was not enough for the Tour Down Under, and that he just doesn’t have the power needed to stay on the climbs, much less get a win. His goal for now is to finish each stage as best as he can and “spend hours on the bike.”

He has recently recovered from bacterial pneumonia last December 2009 and was cleared by his doctors as physically fit enough to continue racing. However, O’Grady says that this year’s Tour Down Under will just be a stepping stone for him to be able to get back into shape for the Spring Classics.
