With Cadel Evans going to BMC, Omega-Lotto has a gap to fill. It looks like they may have found their man in Roman Kreuziger. Kreuaiger finished 9th overall at the Tour de France this year. The 23-year-old also won the Tour de Romandie and the Tour de Suisse over the past two years. With Ivan Basso, from Kreuziger’s current team, Liquigas, expecting to return to the Tour in 2010, it would be a wise choice for Kreuziger to move to a team where he would have room to grow. Although Kreuziger is currently under contract with Liquigas, Omega-Lotto is prepared to pay extra money for the buy-out clause. Stay tuned for more info.
