Trek Ion Recharge Bike Headlight

Cyclists love to ride, no matter what time of day it may be. A lot of us enjoy night time rides, and lets not forget that its hard to see, not to mention unsafe, to ride at night with out lights on your bike. The Trek Ion Recharge Bike Headlight is a good choice; its a 1,500+ candlepower 1 Watt super bright white LED light. It features steady and flashing modes, with 9+ hours of runtime while on steady mode. The Trek Ion Recharge Bike Headlight also comes with a charger, so you can recharge it without having to buy batteries all the time. The Trek Ion Recharge Bike Headlight retails for $99.99, and you can buy it at the Trek online store.

The three batteries go in the unit, which took a while to figure out how to open up the unit, then the way the three batteries go in, is a tiny diagram inside the unit, which I put in. A stardy red light means it is charging, and a bliking red light means it is charged. Trouble is when I pressed the on button, after the 4 hr charge per instructions, it did not work. Also, sliding off the plastic hood seems poor. Again – no instruction, and doesn’t seem to catch on something…so I wonder how well this will stay on my bike rolling down a hill at night and jumping over potholes…never had good luck with head lights.I guess I still am looking for someone to make a rugid but easy to use unit.
Not a very good model. Unclear instructions as mentioned in the comments above. Lights always dies out quickly even after charging. If u fully charge it n leave it unused for a day, it will
Only last about 5 to ten min the next time u use it or becomes dim very fast. Pretty unreliable. Ion2 on the other hand is SUPERB. bright n reliable
