Velocity unveiled some new mountain bike rims at Interbike 2009. They are called the P35, or Pacenti 35, co-designed by Kirk Pacenti. The rims are super wide at 35 mm, which provides stiffness as well as grip in the rough terrain. The P35 was designed for a tubeless tire. The Pacenti 35 comes in black, white, silver, red, and antifreeze green. There is also a faux wood model.

After testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs on December 24th, 2007, Thomas Dekker requested a B test, which also came up positive. Dekker has tested positive for EPO, a banned blood-booster, which led to him not being able to race in this year’s Tour de France. In 2008, he was also not allowed to race in the Tour, and the Rabobank team cited “abnormal blood values” as the reason. Dekker has accepted the test results, and awaits his sanction.

Bell Sports has recently teamed up with the famous Paul Frank brand for some cool new helmets, the Faction and Fraction. The helmets are universally sized, and feature Paul Frank’s signature, Julius the Monkey. The Faction was originally released to be a dirt jump slash trail helmet, but has gained popularity from riders of all different styles and terrain. The Fraction, a smaller version of the Faction made for kids, was recently released. Both helmets are certified by the CPSC and CE1078 bicycle standards, and the ASTM 1492 skate standard. The helmets feature a durable ABS plastic hard shell, dual density EPS foam, printed interior pads, coordinated strap webbing, and color-matched buckles. The Bell Paul Frank Faction and Fraction both retail for $40.

Mash, a group of riders, photographers, designers, and messengers from the West Coast, became cult-famous after the release of their film MASH. Teaming up with Cinelli, Mash has created the Cinelli x Mash SF 2010 Fixed Gear. This bike is built for speed, with a stiff, reactive frame made with Columbus Altec triple butted tubes. The geometry is quite aggressive, with a negative front slope from 2.5″ to 4.5″. The Cinelli x Mash SF 2010 Fixed Gear features CNC machined aluminum dropouts. The artwork was designed by Benny Gold, a renowned surf and skateboard designer. The Cinelli x Mash SF 2010 Fixed Gear has been drilled for a front brake, but it comes plugged and painted. It comes in sizes 50, 53, 55, and 58cm.

After the success Lance Armstrong conquered with Nike not long ago, they are back at it again with two Nike sneakers. The first Lance Armstrong to release is the LS Lunar Glide, available to the public Holiday 2009 season, and the second is the Nike LS Lunar Fly will hit retailers Summer 2010. As of now, msrp is not available. Hopefully we see Lance wearing both on his Trek.
